Nauseous from Too Many Constructions and Too Much Innovation, C-print, 2012.

Early one morning I was jogging along a dark river,
the sun was coming up over the horizon, just beyond it.
Orange and aqua plastic fencing stretched along the bank,
for as far as far as my eyes could sea; it seemed to be moving.
So then I stopped and stared at that orange and aqua fencing.
Leading toward progress, but blocking me from the landscape,
and to the wide world beyond the dark and flowing river.
I searched for an opening so I could feel the cool river's water,
and I started to feel a bit dizzy.
